We KNOW there is more activity in the Pittsburgh area than is shown in the activity here :)

Get involved, you might be suprised at what is going on around town.

There are loads of beaders doing all sorts of great things, and we're supporting and encouraging a lot of them. What they are doing, might be what you are doing, wanting to do, or wanting to learn. By sharing, and getting together, you can save big on beads, especially seed beads in different sizes, colors and shapes. The selection out there has never been better, and we offer wholesale rates to group purchases. If you have a bead club or group, pool your seed bead needs, and we can give you unbeatable rates, and start to stock a wider selection of what YOU use.

Every shop in town has different selections, and while most of our gemstones are pretty awesome, we also carry a growing selection of seed beads especially in unusual shapes, smaller sizes and both the common and uncommon colors.

We have bead meet ups every saturday night, and are willing to do more during the week, or in the mornings if there is interest.

GET INVOLVED! What is available around town is very much up to you. the more you want to do, and show up for, and get involved with, the more opportunities start to be available for you to join in with.

Please post your comments on the various shops in town, in the forums above. It helps everyone to know where selection/supply is. Most of the time, we don't have time to put up the new selections before they are gone. Why don't we buy more? Usually, we buy all of that quality they have. Mother Nature doesn't produce on demand, and only 4 or 5 or 8 or 10 strands of that material or cut may be available -- EVER.

With the demise of the Carnegie show, there is room in November for a new show. A combined Rock, Bead, Mineral, Metaphysical show.

It's a great time to sell your creations, as well as pick up new materials and gifts for the holidays.

If YOU are interested in having a show in November, of 2007, before Thanksgiving, *PLEASE* get a hold of me ASAP. It takes time to plan anything, and finding a venue can be hard too. It has to be large enough, but not too large for the number of vendors. If it's too small, no one can move around.
