After a bit of a haitus, we hope to bring this back.
Saturday evenings, stop by, on your way to, or back from, somewhere, and just hang out and talk beads!
As we get the shop rearranged (again!) there will be plenty of "hang out" space, and time to bring your projects, and show off what you are doing.
As the holidays approach, socializing, getting new ideas, getting new inspiration is the shot in the arm you need (even more than your flu shot!) <G> (well, maybe not, but close!)
Also, during the holiday season, we'd like to make Sunday mornings a "creative" time. We have short hours, from 12 to 3pm, just the right time to stop by, and MAKE-N-TAKE something! We'll have short, simple, creative (and pre-bagged) projects ranging from greeting cards with Foamies and beads, to macrame, quilling, and simple bead stringing projects. Geared to the kids, it's a quick in and out -- but the projects will be appreciated LONG AFTER the day is over!
Saturday mornings are also being set up for crafts for kids. Keep checking back. As the weather moves into winter, things to do to brighten your day are increasingly important.
The WeekEndZone.com (coming soon) site will be set up for a jump off point for all our planned Friday-Sunday activities, and to encourage you to plan for some "down time" for a little beading, a little crafting, or a little socializing about your favorite hobbies!
It will be a jump off point for the BeadLeague, BeadScene, Make-N-Take, DollhouseWorkshops, and many other sites with primarily weekend get togethers.
