help identifying this bead! Can't Post

Hi All! :) I don't think my picture attachment worked, so you can see it at: http://www.angelicstar.net/cosplay/cleo.html Just scroll down and view the pictures of Cleopatra. I have close up pictures of the bead I am interested in if anyone thinks they can help and wants to see them, but I was unable to post it here (don't know how) and would be happy to email it. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me identify the types, where I could obtain such a bead, or how I might duplicate the bead. In the picture, there are some what I call cylinder beads. These are the ones I am interested in identifying and duplicating. It looks to me as though these beads have smaller red and white beads glued, fused, or otherwise attached to them, but I'm not sure. I'd like to duplicate the look of this strand if I could. Since it's not likely I will find strands like this (unless someone happens to know if these strands commonly exist and what they are called), I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to how I could duplicate this strand. I'm wondering what these beads might be called, how big they might be, and what I might do to get the same red and white coloring ect......? Does anyone know of a book that I might be able to reference when trying to recreate this strand of beads? Does anyone know of a book I can reference for making an Egyptian style collar but with a little more character than the plain, traditional ones? Sorry about all the questions. I am still rather new to beading but have a concept in my head I'd love to create if I could. It's nearly an obessesion and I'm sure you all know how that is! :) I thank everyone for any help at all that you can provide. It is much appreciated! :)

You click the picture ICON above, it's next to the "link" icon, and upload the photo. You just follow the prompts. You can add it in-line, or as an attachment.

I know it works, since I add photos to the store forums all the time.
