Current Beadwork (April/May 2003) Can't Post

just got the current beadwork (April/May) and it has some great
projects in it!

Lots of ideas and practical techniques to use with your
own items and inclinations.

The cube bracelet was shown with swarovski cubes, but
it could easily use the japanese 3mm cubes, and give a
somewhat smaller, and leaner (tennis bracelet-like) look.
The number of strands could be increased, and still have
a thin, lean look to it.

The other article of interest was the one on beaded people,
since there seems to be a lot of interest lately in turning
beads into pseudo-human shapes and forms. You'll never look
at your beads the same way again! They will look like
"body parts" or "organ donors" rather than just beads
in drops, cubes, or other shapes.

Can't wait to find a few moments to play with some of the ideas!

One of the advantages of having a bead shop, is there is usually enough variety to find the parts needed :)
