Paper earrings -- Origami and Quilling Can't Post

This weekend, I picked up some quilling kits for the holidays with small items and animals. I figured the girls and I would make some quilled earrings.

Quilling is a great 3-d project for making light weight earrings, and pins, and this time of year - ornaments.

It's easy, inexpensive, and you can do it without any purchased supplies -- just scrap paper.

Today, just now, I caught DIY's Jewelry Making, and what was on it?? Origami and Quilling earrings! Also, I have started to play with shrink plastic, polymer clay and friendly plastic, and the show included that too.

Odd how some things work.

With quilling, you can quickly and easily make light weight holiday earrings -- christmas trees, snow flakes, snowmen, etc. You can use colored or foil paper, spray paint them, and decorate them with beads, sparkles and ribbon.

If there is any interest in this, we can set up a cool little workshop on it.

I know I don't have to say we are closed this Thursday, and that the Thursday night crimping class is not going to be held. I'd like to remind you that this Saturday we are also closed!

But, friday we will be open, and Sunday we will be open.
