Beaded Valentine hearts photos and instruction Can't Post

Hi all,
Was busy with beading with crystals (I received them as Christmas gifts) and made some crystal 3-D hearts for myself to wear, check out the photos at: http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/...alentine_hearts.html

also find two of the instructions that's free to share at:
http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/...id_bead_project.html
and
http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/...id_bead_project.html

Enjoy! and thanks for looking!
Also special thanks to my friends who know I love beading but can't often afford the expensive materials like crystals.

Cheers!

Wow, you have been busy :)

We've had a bit of a rough few weeks, with injury/illness, so I haven't been able to check in as much. Things sort of got away on me.

We've been busy in the shop too. Seems beading is a rising hobby :).

Those are BEAUTIFUL beadangel. What a super talent you are!!!!! Funny I've been busy making hearts too,but not as complicated as yours.

Here's one that I finished just last night. Haven't put the findings on yet.

What are you saying, those are fabulous, what stitch did you use? it looks a bit like crochet beading, I would love to learn that, if you have any patterns to share.

Cheers!

Beadangel, it's just a simple brick stitch. It's the only stitch I know. I'm hoping to learn the peyote stictch one of these days. :( I have a mental block when it comes to this stitch, and it's driving me CRAZY!!!

I have a pattern I am dying to make,but can't. Really perturbs me. :( :(

I saw this earring on a site, not sure now which one, and I just copied the pattern, and changed the colors. The purple is a metallic bead, and it looks a lot better in person.

Thank you for the compliments. :) :) That means a lot to me coming from someone that is as accomplished as yourself. :)

I only beaded for 5 years, not half as good as those beading aritst out there, I'm more of a peyote and right angle weave person, not done a lot of brick but will definitely try out that heart.

Cheers!

Brick stitch is EASY!! I thought it was the stitch that everyone started out with?

You say a right angle weave? Hmmmm... The pattern I referred to before that I can't do I thought was a peyote stitch, but since you mention right angle that's what this pattern does. It has more of an angle to it. ??? Hmmmm..... I'll have to do some searching to see if I can find a tutorial for that stitch.

I tried my pattern in the brick stitch thought it might work, but it's not. Frown

I started with peyote then brick and so on, here's the tutorial on Right Angle Weave on my site: http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/...ave_instruction.html

There are tons of project on the same site using the Right Angle Weave, like http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/...ect_pearl_cross.html
and
http://www.beadjewelrymaking.com/...her_project_dog.html
and much more, just go to the bead project page link at the bottom of each page and you can surf all projects from there.

I have a feeling you have done it before but just didn't know that it's called Right Angle Weave

Enjoy!
