Several years ago Gossamer-Threads opened Gossamer Host, their internal ISP, to host and provide the proper web services for the users of their programs. Most ISP's were ill equiped to run higher end software, and to provide the setup and ongoing support it needs. For the past 5 years, Gossamer Host has been the most stable, responsive, and honest ISP we've ever dealt with. Their systems are tuned and maintained to provide the correct services to the commercial/small business interactive site.
Last year, PUGDOG Enterprises, Inc. and Andy Newby, founder of Ace-Installer joined forces and their software programs in a new programming partnership UltraNerds, to provide more robust software development, and 24 hour, global support to customers. Part of that included reliable hosting for smaller customers testing the waters with a higher end, lower traffic website.
Our solutions are reliable, hosted on the same servers we use for our main business, and with the same company that provides us support.

When you have a problem, or need service, you deal directly with me, or Andy, not a customer service rep. Andy is in the UK, I'm in Pittsburgh. He's a morning person, and I'm a night person. That gives us virtually 24 hour on-line customer support for all our clients.
Additionally, we are always writing new software, improving existing software, or creating new custom solutions for our customers.

While there are a lot of free hosts, and seemingly great shared hosting plans, most act like the airlines and over book, hoping to keep everything full all the time, and that leads to too many people on any single connection.
