It's long over due but we are planning a new Bali sterling order.

We are getting closer to making an order, but to make the shipping charges (which are based on weight, not cost) reasonable, we have to order 3-5 kg. The more the better. But, the cost of bali sliver is up about 70%. So, that means a HUGE increase for the same amount of silver. A $3000 silver order is now over $5,000. Same amount of silver, HUGE amount more cash :(

Right when we had a good 2-3 month order cycle of 3-5 kg each, the sliver/gold thing hit, and that stopped dead. Silver has picked up again, but prices haven't come down.

If you want to lock in a great price, wholesale, we offer our Silver Certificates. Prepay for your sliver, like a gift card, then pick up your silver as you need it. No pre-planning for the best discounts, or getting large beads when you end up needing small ones, or getting spacers when you really need toggles. You pick up what you need, when you need it, for the locked-in price. (If prices go down significantly, we'll add a bonus amount at your time of redemption.)

Just for the record:

May 13, 2005, silver was about $6.85
May 13, 2006, silver had dropped DOWN to about $14.45
May 13, 2007, silver dropped down to about $13.15 from recent prices of around $13.50

If you were wondering why prices are so high.... this is why.

You are looking at just about DOUBLE since the same time 2 years ago.

Plus, the cost of gas is sky high, which increases the costs of mining, manufacture, transportation at all phases.
