Non-Tarnish Silver Can't Post

There has been some confusion on this, and I think this might help you out:

http://www.argentiumsilver.com/

What it is, is a new alloy of sterling, containing germanium, which gives it some resistance to tarnishing, (sort of in the way the US Steel building doesn't rust), but also changes the working properties greatly. You won't see much of this used for standard wire wrapping or silver work, for awhile. It's apparantly very, very hard, can be brittle, and does some weird things.

Search for argentium in any of the search engines if you are interested in finding out more.
