Our store hours the past week were affected by the very sudden death of the 96 year old matriarch of the family, and then a hospitalization of co-manager Marie resulted in abbreviated hours, and missed openings.
We are sorry for any inconvenience, but it was truly unavoidable.
On the up side, lots of new items have been added to the inventory, and are now on display. - Mineral specimens - wulfenite, desert roses, malachite, and several others.
- Rough rock - binghamite/silkstone from an old mine, rhodachrosite, picture jaspers (including tumbled Biggs Jasper), a variety of fist-sized agates and minerals for tumbling or cutting, and much more!
- Beads -- watermelon tourmaline faceted beads, faceted citrine gemstones, blue lace agate, and more.
- Holistic -- increased the rough (unpolished) specimens, tumbled/polished rocks have been added to, more amethyst (including cacoxinite), rose quartz,
- SPHERES -- hematite, sodalite, jasper, dalmatian stone, snow flake obsidian, and others (1"-2-1/2").
and we are awaiting a 200lb shipment of tumbled polished stones for by-the-bag sales.
Our hours are from 1pm - 8pm Tuesday thru Saturday, with abbreviated hours on Sunday, usually Noon-3pm. (those change). Closed monday. Other hours by appointment. We are often open later on Thursday, friday and Saturday, depending on the weather.
