New Frequent Customer Bonus Programs

We have a new discount program going into effect for 2005.
Hopefully, we'll have it in place by the first of February.
We are planning on using the gift card system, and an accumulated value
system, to track purchases, dollar amounts, the silver club, and to be
used as gift certificates.
There is a program for everyone! The only program we could not do electronically,
we'll do with a laminated card -- our monthly rock or bead club, which is targeted
to the kids.

In summary:
Silver Club: You can purchase grams of silver, then debit your card as needed.
Minimum debit is 10 grams, or the balance of the card.
Gift Cards: These cards can be purchased in any amount from $5 to $500.
They can be redeemed for $10 at a time, or the balance of the card.
There is a $0.25 charge for any purchase/redemption under $10 or the balance of the card.
(If your card only has $9 on it, there is no charge if all $9 is used).
Wholesale VIB (Very Important Beader): We'll track all your purchases over $50, and when you hit
$1000 in accumulated purchases for a year, you'll get a bonus.
Retail VIB card: We'll track all your purchases over $20, and when you hit $300 (in any length of time)
you'll get a $25 gift card you can use, or give away.
Frequent Buyer Card: If you make a lot of small purchases, like our rock bags, small toys,
or small kits, if you spend at least $10 at one time, we'll credit your card,
and when you get 10 qualifying purchases, you'll get a $10 gift card you can
use, or give away.
Our monthly Bead and/or Rock club:
For $1 per year, (a year starts the month you buy the card), you can pick one rock from our
rock pit, or get our bead of the month (which might be a small bag or tube of seed beads, or
a larger centerpiece gemstone or glass bead).
The Rock has a $0.50/month value (as measured by our Gem Vendor machine), and the bead will have
a similar retail value.
These two clubs are targeted at kids, and younger customers. It's a way for them to take home
something tangible, and to keep them interested.
