Our distributor just said to expect price increases in Japanese seed beads (and most products).
The dollar is down almost 25% against the yen, and it's still slipping.
Expect to see price increases of 10-25% in the wholesale costs, and potentially more in the retail costs.
If you've been planning to purchase beads, NOW is the time! You'll get as much as 25% more for the same money as you will in only a few months.
There is always a lag in price changes, and these are going to hit by spring, and go through the summer, and probably into the fall.
On a brighter note..... rumor has it there will be over 100 new Delica colors... ??? Anyone know for sure?
