Flip top tubes Can't Post

We have a large order of 1-7/8 flip top tubes on order. Should arrive next week. These are the standard "two inch" tubes we use for packaging our beads, and other items. They are extremely versitile and flexible. They stand, don't roll off your table, and they fit into our exclusive trays. Between now, and when they arrive, we will offer them for $0.20 each in lots of 5, or 25 for $4 (that's 20% off). 100 tubes with an organizer tray will be $22 (that's a drop in price of about $13 (37%) over the old $35 price). Larger quantities of tubes are available. These prices are good until Wednesday, 9/14. Call to reserve your tubes.

We also ordered in some square and triangle tubes. Not many, but we want to see how they work. We may start packaging the triangle beads in triangle tubes, and square beads in square tubes. At least the _mixes_. For compatiblity sake, we'll still probably package the single-color beads in the 1-7/8 tubes to fit into our regular organizers and trays.

That brings up another issue. We have about $1000 (wholesale) of Miyuki beads on order, again for arrival next week.

The lot should include a lot of triangles in black and gold, a bunch of mixes in 10/0, 8/0 and 5/0 sizes. We also ordered in some drops, a new bugle mix, and other mixes in holiday/fall/christmas and blue colors.

The triangle beads look great in drop earrings, on chain-maille (or linked ring) jewelry, and as spacers for many different types of gemstones and glass. We had gotten away from them for awhile, and found a few tubes as we were cleaning out the store room. Marie's had a lot of fun, and aims to pass it on!

We'll have *great* prices on them -- just $0.99 - $1.50 per 10g tube for most of the triangles, $1.50-$1.99 for the drops and magatamas, and $1.99 or less for most 15/0 and 11/0 mixes. What a way to start your holiday beading season!

That brings up ANOTHER issue :) Lot's of issues this week. We are rearranging the store, again, as we have announced previously. The first step, the clean up, and clean out, of the main store room (that was literally "trashed" due to leaks over the past year) has been accomplished! We found a *LOT* of great stuff -- old beads we have not had out for a long time, stuff unavailable now, as well as a lot of new larger rock and mineral specimens, a *LOT* of slabs, and many beautiful and unique items that will go fast -- but would make great holiday, birthday, or other gifts for that special rock collector or would complete that gemstone collection or metaphysical collection.

We have not had much luck finding great specimens (like we had when we first opened 3 years ago) recently, but we do have a few stunning collector pieces in crystals and stones. We have also gotten some unique fossils in, from the local region, and the last batch we had disappeared almost as soon as we put them out. We are still negotiating on the items, so they are not currently for sale, but a few are available for viewing.

This promises to be a great holiday season for beaders and hobbiests here in the Pittsburgh area (and probably the rest of the country). We have a lot of events and activities planned, and we have a great inventory that is UNIQUE and DIFFERENT from the other local shops and craft stores.

And remember -- finishing help is *always* free, and available. Workstations allow you to sit and work on your projects, and ask for help, or find that one needed bead right away. Want to learn to bead? Pull up a chair, find some beads you like, and start stringing! It's that easy.

Our bead brunches are being set up, with the "Bead Exchange" and "Show and Tell" idea.

If you'd like to join in, let us know!
