It looks like we will be at the Monroeville ExpoMart Creative Inspirations show October 7,8,9 (Thurs, Fri, Sat).

We had a great 1st day!

I'm beat like a stubborn mule!

The classes went really well, I think, even though one was way too big for me to handle alone. I think we did get some good response, and the students came away with some new skills and ideas.

One lady, especially, just had a great time! We love to see that.

I don't know what to expect for day two and 3, since the first day is usually a ramp-up day.

We are going to have to limit the classes to no more than 15, which means there may be some space issues, if you wait til the last minute. If you are local, in town, remember you can always get help and instruction in the shop! 1 on 1 even! Just call ahead, let us know the day and time you are coming in, so we can make sure to have coverage -- or warn you that it might not be the best time.

The earrings and Macrame classes were great. The bead stringing (finishing off) class was a bit stressful, but I think I'll be more ready for it tomorrow. I was not planning on as many people to show up as did.

I think the response to the classes is so great, we are going to try to open up the BeadLeage & BeadScene beading weekends. One weekend a month, have 2 days of classes. One hour is not enough, so 2 hour blocks, where we teach the basic skills necessary for one new technique. Starting with the basics, and moving up to more advanced work -- and as the weekends progress, more advance work for returning students.
