Bali Silver Order -- Arrives Friday. Can't Post

My supplier liked our recent orders, and actually made a bunch of stuff that was missing, so we have about FOUR KILOGRAMS of silver arriving on Friday. We hope to catch the FedEx guy, so we'll have the beads by the time we open.

Only about 1.5 kilos are pending for after Christmas delivery.

They also offered us a one-time discount for the holidays, before prices go up (we'll take what we can get!)

To that end, we'll offer a ONE DAY "sale" of sorts to everyone.

With silver prices at a new recent high, we are having trouble holding the current pricing scale (as have almost all our suppliers).

Our $0.99 cent price for 50+ grams and regular customers will probably end with this new batch of silver -- and almost certainly by the next batch. If Silver hits $10 an ounce, prices will adjust greatly. Everyone is hoping the $9 price is just a fluke, and it will drop back down this week.

Quote

So, FRIDAY ONLY ---> $0.99 per gram price to everyone who buys at least 30 grams of Bali silver, toggles, beads, whatever.

We'll offer an extra 5% off for anyone who purchases 100 grams or more of the Bali Silver, and uses cash. -- that is $0.94/gram for your choice of real Bali.

We'll offer a $0.95/gram price for anyone purchasing 250 grams of Bali on or off a Silver Club Card.
We'll offer a $0.93 per gram price for anyone who purchases 250 grams or more of Bali Silver on or off a card for CASH.

After Friday, prices will go back to the regular retail prices. Discounts will still be available for cash, larger orders, pre-paid bulk orders, and our regular silver customers who's overall volume is high.

We expect to see a $2/gram silver price at the retail level shortly, with at least a $1.50/gram price wholesale. When silver was under $6 a gram, wholesale prices were averaging about $0.60/gram for silver cast beads. At $9 a gram, that would push costs up closer to $0.90 gram. If silver tops $10, or goes up to the $12 to $15 that is expected, that would push wholesale prices to well over a dollar, closer to the $1.25 range for "discount" wholesale.

Bali beads are harder to make, and are more beautiful than almost any other silver bead. The costs of those beads are sure to go up somewhat more, as labor tries to cash in on the rising costs.

So, we'll have some great deals on some great styles of Bali Toggles and Beads. We have some really cool headpins for decorative use -- not just earrings. They are great for making pendents, and unique designs.

We don't ever expect to see prices this low again -- at least for a long while. Prices go up fast, and come down slow. If gold keeps going up, silver will ride along with it.

So, plan to stop by Friday, but call first to make sure the shipment wasn't delayed for some reason. It's on it's way, but we can't control customs delays or other issues.

Happy Holidays!
