How to Diagnose and Repair Garage Door Problems Can't Post

Since garage doors are used very often in the house, sometimes garage doors have problems of one kind or another, but the maintenance of garage doors is a very difficult task, so how can we quickly find a solution when garage doors have some problems? Today I will tell you how to diagnose and fix problems with garage doors.

1. Check the power supply

If the garage door opener does not respond, the first thing you need to do is check if it is connected to a power source. You can check the power and garage door sensors as well as the wall lights to make sure they are on. If this is not the case, unplug it from the outlet and plug it back in, if it does not respond, go to the junction box and check the safety switch.

2. Make sure it is not locked

Sometimes the garage door does not open, probably because the garage door opening mechanism is locked, which is a garage door security function. You can check the garage door opener button mounted on the wall, there is a green light on it. If the green button flashes, it means that the garage door is locked. In this case, just press and hold the "Lock" button for a few seconds until the green light stops flashing, then try to open the garage door again.
