I got a package from one of the glass distributors awhile back, that included a simple book, and a video.
The video was worthwhile, not for learning how to make the beads, but watching how their hands moved, and the skills they used.
I'd suggest finding a video. More than a book. A book can give you color and shape ideas, but it can't show you how to move your hands, the speed to move at, and such. *THAT* is why a class is so good. It's not the beads you make, but watching the timing/rhythm of what is going on. Does that make sense?
