The new glass beads are really quite nice. They are not Swarovski, but they also don't carry that price. They also seem a lot clearer with more sparkle than the average Czech beads.
New Glass Beads - Pretty nice
The 2-4mm bicones are not really uniform in size, but for most purposes it won't be noticed. The rounds are much more uniform in shape and the 6mm and 8mm bicones get progressively better.
The cubes are far less expensive than Swarovski, and (while again) not the same quality, they are very bright and sparkly, and will allow you to create designs that were out of reach with Swarovski cubes. Cubes are in, but they are also expensive. With these cubes you can still create trendy designs, but at far less cost, and with more sparkle than plain glass.
We have a lot of bicones, rounds, rondells both faceted and smooth. There were also a few other shapes, flat facets, ovals, and a few unusual shapes.
Loads of creativity.
