gemstone repair question Can't Post

is there a quick, simple way to repair broken turquoise? for that matter, is there any way to repair it? what a have is a turquoise horse charm. there is a loop at the back of the horse with a horizontally drilled hole through it. the loop itself broke right in half (horizontally) when i was trying to put a jump ring through the hole. i don't know what to do. it isn't my charm. it is a friend's. it's one thing if it has broken, and been repaired. but giving it back to them broken, that would not go well. anyways, is there something i can get somewhere like Michael's, a craft store of some sort? help!

If the two parts fit together well, you can use super glue.

Not a lot, and a good gel would work better.

You learned a good lesson about trying to use a bead, or gemstone, as part of the leverage when putting a loop or jump ring through a hole. The first time you do it, is bad. The next time, you'll want to hit your head on the table, because you knew better...
