Just a reminder....

http://beadiecritters.com is open, and there are a lot of patterns there.

It also needs a lot of TLC and editor help!

We need a few people willing to sort through the pattern pages, and feed them into the database site. A lot of cut/paste can be done, but clearing up the pattern instructions, separating out the materials needed (eg: number of red, blue, green beads, etc), will take a bit of time.

If we can find some editors to help out, the site can accept new uploads, comments, user pictures, reviews of each pattern, etc.

It's a *free* site, will always be free, so we can't offer much more than a pat on the back, a thank you page, and such. But, the site gets a lot of traffic, and that will inevitably go up once the database allows for searches and easier browsing, so there can be a lot of exposure, and maybe even bead gifts for helping out. I don't want to bribe people, I want to find some people who want to do this because it feels good :) It's a great kids site, and will be part of the PUGDOG Kids network, that will include other beading/craft sites, as well as sites like B4UDate.com (I have pre-teen/teen girls), SafeSitters.com, and a few other Teen/Tween sites.

Kids have lost all the places they can hang out in the real world -- liability, money, etc closed the "hang outs" -- and most "free" sites on line aren't -- they scam, use cookies, try to sell things -- soft sell, leading kids into playing games, and selling associated merchandise. Family days out cost hundreds of dollars! (Did you see the article on the "Real cost of a day at the stadium" ? Over $300 in Pittsburgh! $300 buys a lot of beads, strings, crafts supplies and LONG LASTING FUN!

I've always wanted to create a "teen" hang out like there used to be. Can't afford it in the real world without big backers, but on-line, I can create *FREE* sites that offer information, fun, creativity, and more, without tie ins to TV, Movies, Video games, and commercial "BUY" mentality.

Sure, we'll have some ads on the site, bills need to be paid some how (and it helps visibility too), but we will do our best to keep them "crafty", "educational" and directly related to the information being offered on the sites.

Nevertheless, the site receives a lot of traffic, and it will surely go up as soon as the database allows for searches and easy browsing, so there may be a lot of exposure, and maybe even bead gifts for help out. Write for https://articles.abilogic.com/...hy-your-company.html . I don't want to bother people, I want to find some people who want to do it because it feels good.
